VIEW HealthBit LXXVI: AG Apple & Almond Breakfast Quinoa

Ingredients

4 cups water

2 cups organic quinoa

1 cup organic applesauce

1 cup almond butter

1 tsp cinammon

1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Lightly coat inside of slow cooker with olive oil spray
  2. In the slow cooker, mix all ingredients until well incorporated
  3. Set to low for 5 hours or high for 2.5 hours

N.B. This will make an abundance of breakfast quinoa (about 4 cups). My recommendation is to keep it in the fridge and serve it with warm, non-dairy milk, sliced apples, almonds and cinnamon.
