Ingredients
1 large or 2 small avocados (very ripe)
1 ⅓ cup oats (instant or old-fashioned)
¼ cup raw cacao
¼ cup nut butter or sunflower seed butter
¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels
2 tbsp maple syrup
Directions
- Line baking pan (9” x 12”) with parchment paper for easy clean-up
- In a large bowl, mash avocado with a fork
- Add in rest of the ingredients
- Combine well
- Spoon heaping tablespoons of batter into pan
- Press into cookie shapes
- Place pan in freezer
- Let chill for at least a ½ hour before serving
- Keep cookies in freezer when not being consumed
- Consume 🙂
Recipe makes 16 cookies
Can also be shaped into spheres if energy balls are preferred
