“The more you recognize and express gratitude for the things you have, the more you will have to express gratitude for.” – Zig Ziglar
It may seem difficult right now to focus on the positive things in life. The more news sources you tune into, the harder it is to stay grounded and upbeat. There is no doubt that anxiety and depression levels are on the rise across the globe. That being said, I think there is no greater time to count our blessings. The more you focus on on the good in your life, the better you will feel. I always try to have a grateful heart, but writing things down is not my strong suit. Therefore this was no easy task for me, but it was very rewarding. I encourage you to take two minutes to write down ten things you are grateful for at this moment. You will not be disappointed. If you also need some coping mechanisms to deal with stress, please take a look at this previous HealthBit.
