VIEW HealthBit CIV: AG Baked Apple

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
(Organic ingredients recommended )

Ingredients
1 large apple 
¼ tsp cinnamon
⅛ tsp cardamom
1 tsp raw honey (preferably local)

Directions

  1. Cut apple in half
  2. Core the apple (and peel if you don’t like the skin)
  3. Sprinkle cinnamon and cardamom all over apple
  4. Drizzle honey on top
  5. Place cut-side down on a baking sheet
  6. Bake for 25 minutes
  7. Serve warm 

NB This pairs nicely with unsweetened coconut yogurt and gluten free granola
